The Guns of Navarone (1961) is a movie about a group of commando soldiers sent to the Greek island of Navarone during WWII to destroy large German guns stopping Allied retreat.
The Nazi Swastika is suppose to give the vibe of treading into enemy territory. The guns were placed on top of a large mountain inside a fortress. The worn out and folds on the paper were made to give the look of an old map worn out after the many uses in war. The orange and blue were chosen to contrast with each other.
